Thank you, Jesus for your invitation
To spend time with you in adoration,
For there my spirit finds rest
Knowing you only do what is best.

Oftentimes I can no longer pray
But you say that's okay.
All you want is my presence near
Because to you I am so very dear.

You are the bread that gives life
Your peaceful presence puts an end to strife,
You want me to hand over all worry
And spend time without anxiety and hurry.
